Tom and Judy, my deepest sympathies for your loss. I apologize for not being there for the service as I was out of town on a hunting trip. That was one of the things that Dan and I had in common as youngsters was our mutual love of the outdoors. I will always consider him one of my closest childhood friends. Though sometimes life's path takes us on different journeys the bond of friendship like we had kept him close in thought. I will miss him a lot.

Tom,Judy,Thomas & Jayette: I loved Dan as if he were my own brother. I have adopted your family as my family. Our hearts are broken. Dan was a wonderful guy (you raised him well) he was always kind and loved to tease me when we saw each other. This is a tragedy for the family. Stay close together (as you will), remember all the good times and fun you had w/Dan...concentrate on that to bring a smile to your face. Keep your hearts warm and full of love. I will do anything to help you through this tough time...I love all of you...you truly are the best. All my love...Louise

"The mention of our son's name may bring tears to our eyes, but it never fails to bring music to our ears. If you are really our friend, let us hear the music of his name! It soothes our broken hearts and sings to our souls."
This was a quote that helped me when my daughter passed...I am so sorry for your loss.
