PLEASANT PRAIRIE - David Carl Rumachik, 92, of Pleasant Prairie, WI, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, at Primrose Retirement Community. He was a devout Christian his entire life and an active member of the Methodist Church, VFW, and American Legion, until health issues slowed him down. His hobbies included woodworking, hunting, playing cards, playing softball until age 79, cheering for the Green Bay Packers, but most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his children, Debra (John) Streufert of Woodbridge, VA, Jeffrey (Karmen) Rumachik of Mazomanie, WI, Rene' (Joseph) Best of Salem, WI; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his parents; wife; grandso,n Peyton; and all siblings and their spouses, Jenny Rumachik (in infancy), George (Delores) Rumachik, Mary (Leo) Jones, Steve (Joyce) Rumachik, Jessye (Mitchell) Urbanski, Annie (Frank) Donahue, Andrew (Hildegard) Rumachik, Paul (Patricia) Rumachik, and Lily (James) Miller. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial to Hospice Alliance or a veteran's group of your choice.

The family would like to express a sincere thank-you to the staff of Primrose for their care and compassion. A memorial gathering will be held at Community Church, 455 S. Jefferson St., Waterford, WI, on Saturday, August 23, 2025, with visitation beginning at 3 p.m. and a memorial service and military honors to follow immediately at 4 p.m.

So sorry to hear of Dave´s passing, my prayers are with you at this difficult time. So sorry I never got out to see Dave when we were in Wisc. It´s hard when you depend on others for transportation.
