KENOSHA - Duane Dionne, 89, of Kenosha, died at Froedtert South Pleasant Prairie Hospital on June 2, 2024.
He was born in Marinette, WI, on December 5, 1934, to the late Joseph and Margaret Dionne.
On September 13, 1991, he married Virginia Rustia.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two stepchildren: Michael Rustia of Madison and Rachel Campise of Sarasota, FL; two grandsons: Cole and Jack Hautamaki of Sarasota, FL; a brother and sister-in-law, John and Jane Dionne of Appleton WI; a sister-in-law, Carol Dionne, of Sarasota, FL; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marlene, and his brother, Guy.
A memorial service for family members will be held at St. Mark's Catholic Church with internment at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.

Duane was known as Father Dewey to me when I was an elementary school student at St Paul's School in Manitowoc. I remember him as being very kind and (in hindsight, based upon what I now know) progressive. He will be missed.
