Eleanor D. Martz

1931 - 2014

Eleanor D. Martz, 83, of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 5, 2014, at Brookside Care Center.

Born on June 15, 1931, In Kenosha, Wis., she was the daughter of the late George and Marie (Berger) Martz. She attended schools in Kenosha and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.

She served time in the U.S. Air Force and worked with the Theater Guild in Houston, Tex. El loved to travel; one of her memorable trips was taking her mother to Europe. She was employed at S.C. Johnson for 35 years, retiring in 1997, and was a member of the 20 year club.

She had been a volunteer with Hospice and a member of the U.S. Humane Society.

Surviving is her sister-in-law, Alice; her dear friend, Colleen; numerous nephews and nieces; and her adorable Westie, Connor.

She was preceded in death by her sister Marcella; and brother, Arnold.

Private services were held with entombment at All Saints Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
