Frederick Bon Obituary

Frederick C. Bon

July 29, 1945 - July 15, 2025

Frederick C. Bon passed away peacefully in his sleep July 15, 2025. He was born in Kenosha, Wis., July 29, 1945, to August and Lucile (Augustine) Bon. He is survived by his sister, Boni; her three children and their families; cousin, Bill Augustine; and former wife and friend, Patty Smith. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Frederick Daniel Lockwood; and his brother-in-law, Robert A. Jensen.

Fred loved the Southwest. There he was able to be near his parents and care for his mom until she passed. He also loved his summertime with family on Big Green Lake in Wisconsin. Six years ago, Fred suffered a severe stroke. It was a big setback for him to be in an assisted living facility, but he reacted with grace and was well cared for. He no longer had his "dream job" driving folks to and from Sky Harbor airport and sharing stories with them. Fred could spin a story and loved to connect them with the stories of his customers. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Private service and burial will be held at Green Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
