Kenneth E. Wermeling
Dec. 22, 1943 – Jan. 26th, 2024
Ken "Worm" Wermeling peacefully departed this world on the wings of his angels on January 26th, 2024.
Born in Kenosha, December 22, 1943 to Mabel (Gitzlaff) and Edward Wermeling. Cherished husband to Jacqueline (Velino) Wermeling. Brother to Roger "Little Worm" Wermeling (Arleen, Kenosha). Father of Timothy Wermeling (Kenosha/Chicago) and his late daughter Laurie Wermeling. Grandfather to Tyson, Sofia, Lily, Chloe and Lucinda Wermeling.
Ken retired as Assistant Vice-President after a 29 year career at State Bank of Antioch/of the Lakes (Antioch, IL) and retired to his Camp Lake, WI home from where he thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing and exploring his favorite Wisconsin natural areas, rustic roads and local establishments.
Ken is further survived by his wife Jackie's kids and grandkids - Elizabeth and Olivia Danilow, daughters to Tammy (Mitlevic) and Andrew Danilow; and Jackie's son Michael (Shari) Mitlevic.
Jackie and Tim would like to express our utmost appreciation to the entire staff at Froedtert-St Catherine's Medical Center and the Hospice Alliance of Pleasant Prairie. A private family gathering will precede a celebration of life for friends at a time and place to be determined.

I went all through school with Ken. I especially remember him from McKinley Jr. High. Always a nice guy!
