Lewis Huff Obituary

Lewis W. Huff, Sr.

1928 - 2012

Lewis W. Huff, Sr., 84, of Richmond, Ill., passed away Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, while in the company of family members, at his residence.

Lewis was born in Spring Grove, Ill., on Sept. 13, 1928, a son of the late George and Anna (Freund) Huff.

He was married to June Cooper on Nov. 17, 1960, in Delavan, Wis.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Spec3 in the Korean War in the Construction Engineers from Nov 1953 to Nov 1955.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator for A.N. May and Paul May & Sons for 28 years retiring in 2004.

Lewis is survived by his wife June; five daughters, Patty (Charles) Brown, of Spring Grove, Ill.; Cheryl (the late Ray) May, of Pell Lake, Wis.; Alice (Steve) Maday, of Bristol, Wis.; Ann (Greg) Schultz, of Pell Lake, Wis.; Georgie Huff, of Richmond, Ill.; a son, Louie W. (the late Debra) Huff Jr., of Spring Grove, Ill.; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lorraine (the late Norbert) Hiller, of Johnsburg, Ill., and Elaine (Rich) Graf, of Solon Mills, Ill.

He was preceded by two sons Larry and Robert Huff, a grandson Donald Brown, a sister Jeanette Jacobson and a brother Mervin Huff,

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service at noon Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Ehorn-Adams Funeral Home 10011 Main St Richmond, IL. Msgr. Joseph Jarmoluk will officiate.

Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Richmond with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the family would be appreciated.
