Lisa Bathe
1963 - 2021
On Friday, September 3, 2021 Lisa Bathe passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Born on February 15, 1963 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to parents Willa and Earl Smith, Lisa was the youngest of four children. A graduate of Bradford high school, Lisa went on to pursue her dream of becoming a traveling nurse, a dream that was cut short too soon.
On September 11, 1992, she married Gary Bathe and went on to have two beautiful girls that were her world. A follower of Christ, Lisa always believed that the Lord had a plan for every person and did her best to follow the path He set forward for her. She was a devoted mother, friend, and was always there to help and support others in their time of need. Lisa was also a lover of animals, a trait she passed on to both of her children.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband, Gary Bathe; her daughters, Alex and Michaela Bathe; her sister, Deb (Tom) Cutts; her brother, Greg (Susan) Smith; her mother, Willa Smith; her nephews, David (Kim), Ian (Annmarie), and Chris (Heather); along with countless nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Smith and her brother, David Smith.
Funeral services honoring Lisa's life will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Piasecki Funeral Home 3720 39th Avenue. Interment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. A visitation for Lisa will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family would also like to extend their greatest thanks to Hospice of the Valley for their care and support during Lisa's final moments. We would also like to thank Deb Shovers and Billy, her dear friends that were of great support and comfort to her during her life.
