Loren Moe Obituary
1938 - 2017
Loren T. Moe, 79, of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 14, 2017, in Kenosha, Wis.
Born in LaCrosse, Wis. on Sept. 15, 1938, he was the son of the late Tilman and Mable (Starch) Moe.
He attended Augustana Academy in Canton, S.D. He then graduated from DeSoto High School where he met the love of his life, Shirley Everson. On Nov. 1, 1958, in Nashua, Iowa, they were united in marriage. They then moved to Kenosha where he was employed by American Motors (AMC) in final repair. He retired in 1988. He also spent a lot of his time as an independent flight instructor at the Kenosha airport. Loren was also a member of the Civil Air Patrol.
He enjoyed collecting antique farm toys, working on his lawn, and listening to his favorite country music tapes. His goal for this year was to read the bible all the way through. He made it to the book of Romans. He loved God and his family with everything he had.
Loren in survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley Moe; his three brothers Harold (Sandy) Moe, Russell (Thelma) Moe, Gary (Kathy) Raabel and one sister Carmen Moe; his two daughters, Debbie May, and Susan (James) Wilson; his two sons, Steven (Becky) Moe, and Jeffery Moe; his grandchildren, Sara (Danny) Ametovski, David (Kjersti) Carrubba, Karena Carrubba, Travis Wilson, Brandon Wilson, Amber Whiteley and Craig Kossow; lastly his ten great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Moe.
A Celebration of Life for Loren will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, at 12 p.m. (noon) at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service.

This is such very sad news. I have know Mr. Moe for nearly 50 years. A wonderful father, husband, and really nice person. Our thoughts and prayers go out Mrs. Moe and the kids during these most difficult times.
