Maria Neave Obituary
1930 - 2016
Maria M. Neave, 86, was surrounded in the love of her family as she passed away on Sunday, April 3, 2016.
She was born in Mexico on Jan. 16, 1930, daughter of the late Abundio and Vicenta (nee: Villalobos) Rodriguez. In 1958 she was married to Alfonso "Poncho" Neave, and shortly afterwards they moved to Kenosha.
Maria was a proud homemaker who devoted her life to caring for her family. She enjoyed cooking; especially for family parties, and looked forward to being with her children and many grandchildren. She liked music and dancing, and had a special fondness for Milky Way candy bars. Maria was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
Maria is survived by her children, Margarita (Benigno) Garza, Alfonso Neave, Jr., Petra Neave, Enriqueta Mancinas, Jose Vincente (Olga) Neave, Raul (Martha) Neave, Juanita (Daniel) Cordova, Tomasa Neave, and Blanca Neave; 52 grandchildren, 115 great grandchildren, and 18 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Pablo Rodriguez, Marcelo Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, and Celestino Rodriguez; sisters, Maria Cliofas Barrera, Mariana Bonilla, and Amada Diaz; and her best friend, Luisa Maravilla; as well as many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Alfonso Neave, her son, Xavier Neave; grandchildren Abraham Lira and Georgia Ann Neave, great-great grandson Marciano Osorio; and her sister, Maria del Carmen Aguilera.
Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2016, with Rev. Juan Rodriquez officiating. Burial will follow at St. Casmirs Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home Thursday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Friday morning beginning at 10 a.m. Memorials to the family have been suggested.
A special thanks to Katie and Juanita for the loving caregiving of "Ama;" and also to her nurses from Allay Home & Hospice, Jenna and Carla for the compassion and kindness you provided to her and our family.

I will miss my great grandma dearly. I will miss everything she told me while she was in bed days before passing away. She is in a better place and I know she is watching down at myself and my family Neave. We will miss our NEAVE QUEEN. Nobody will replace her kingdom position. I will also miss her smile and the kisses we would give her when we arrived at her house, and while leaving. Also her big greeting smile welcoming the family in. You are very loved ama. I know I have to share my birthday today with your funeral. It is my gift to see you one more time, even though I am not able to speak with you as I usually did. I remember days before you passed away, you requested orange juice and they took so long to bring it to you and you said "What? Are they still planting the orange juices to make my orange juice" in a sarcasm voice. I will also miss the day, when I arrived to your house and I came to give you a kiss, and you began crying while seeing me there. You are now with apa, tio Xavier, tio Abraham, and many others up in heaven. You are another angel of our family. May you rest easily my queen!
