Michael Jay Alexander, age 53, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Glenbrook Hospital in Glenview, IL.
Born on May 12, 1968, he was the son of Melvin and Peggy (Felsenthal) Alexander. He attended local schools and earned his degree in Hotel Management from The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
On May 26, 1991, he was united in marriage to Sandy Steinfort in Neenah, WI.
Michael was employed as a Director of Operations for the restaurant industry until his retirement in 2021. His interests included cars, technology and spending time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Alexander; his children, Shelby and Danny Alexander; his parents, Melvin and Jane "Peggy" Alexander and his siblings, David Alexander and Tammy Allegretti.
Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Funeral services honoring Michael's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 28, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 7400 39th Ave., Kenosha, WI. Interment will follow in Green Ridge Cemetery. A visitation for Michael will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
