KENOSHA - Patricia Ann Doerflinger, 92, of Kenosha, was born into eternal life on Saturday, January 13, 2024 in Pleasant Prairie while surrounded by her loving family.
Born on June 22, 1931, in Ashland, WI, she was the daughter of the late Bryan and Ethel (Meredith) Callahan.
She was educated in the schools of Ashland as a young girl and moved to Kenosha when she was 12 years of age. She then attended St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Grade School and is a graduate of the Mary D. Bradford High School Class of 1949.
She was united in marriage with George Doerflinger, Jr. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on September 15, 1951. He preceded her in death on April 21, 2017.
Patricia was employed as an Office Manager for many years at Kemen Sausage Co, which later became Romance Foods. She was further employed by Simmons Company and Harbert Auto Parts.
Patricia was a long-time member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church until it closed in 2000, and then became a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
Patricia enjoyed attending church, spending time with her family, watching soap operas and Chicago sports, casino trips, reading, bowling, card and board gamesw and word puzzles.
She is survived by two sons: Rick (Denise) of Mt. Pleasant, WI and Ronald (Kathryn) of Kenosha; four daughters: Sharon Doerflinger of Aurora, CO, Chris (Art) Markin, Doreen (Paul) Niemi, and Debby (Trent Gemoll) Laitinen, all of Kenosha; She is further survived by a sister, Mary Viroglio of Kenosha; her beloved grandchildren: Ben Doerflinger, Nicole (William) Strehlow, Nathan Markin, Gretchen Doerflinger, Heather (Tyler) Jake, Steven Niemi, Ian Doerflinger, Ronald (Lourdes) Doerflinger, Jr., Richard Doerflinger, and Caleb Laitinen. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; nephews, and nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers: James and John Callahan, and a sister, Kathleen Kivi.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Kenosha, 5400 19th Ave. Visitation with the family will be on Monday within the church's Italian Gardens from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.

Growing up I spent a lot of time in the Doerflinger household. Mrs. Doerflinger (Pat) was always Loving and supportive to me. Family, I am sorry for your loss. In this time of sorrow, I hope you can focus on all the great memories she created with all of you!
