Im so sorry to find out Pete has passed away. He was our mortgage loan banker and was such a kind and gentle soul. When I noticed we had a different banker recently, I was hoping it was because Pete had retired! He always seemed to be the last person in the bank and to be extremely contentious and hard-working. He made a lasting impression on us and the world will have a little less joy in it without him...

Pam, Jenny, and Kristy; I have to say that Uncle Peter was one of the nicest people I ever known with such a kind, positive, soul. He always had a smile on his face, a good story to tell, and was one of those people that everyone loved to be around. I have good memories of spending time with U. Peter and friends and family on the WI River, tubing, cliff jumping, fishing, swimming, boating, Frank and Marty Picnics, and everyone, sitting around the camp fire at night. Also going to the dog track in high school and playing softball. Uncle Peter will be deeply missed by many family and friends but never forgotten. My thoughts are also with you during this difficult time.

When I think of Pete I remember a party in my parents basement. Pete was sitting in a bean bag chair across the room from the stereo when he called over to me, smiled that Pete smile, and made a twisting gesture with his hand. He wanted me to turn up the music. Whenever I turn up my stereo I think of Pete. I attended a lot of great concerts with and because of Pete (who remembers Ticketron?). I had a lot of great times with Pete and the guys. I'm sad to hear he is gone but, he will always in my memories. Especially, when I'm listening to some classic rock and drinking a beer. Pam and family, we are sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

My wife and I have been dealing with Pete for many years at the bank. I remember when he departed Bank One, we followed him to Johnson Bank because of his professionalism, personal approach to his clients, and just being a really great individual. Over time and conversations, we talked about upper Wisconsin, turkey hunting, fishing, and having fun. Pete always took extra time with us... and, our banker became our friend. What a GREAT guy! We will miss you Pete...

U Pete the impact you have on so many is infinite. A dedicated family and business man. You were always there for us all. You were many soldiers view into the latest deer or fishing report, a reflection of the US, back home. You and the Johnson Bank team would always laugh at the strange numbers coming in as I called from all over the world. From the Middle East, Africa, and Europe your deer pics and river photos were inspirational to all as we fought on. I always received the same laughing greeting - Mattious what's going on? Where you at? No- No never mind... What's the happs? When you coming to visit? How's the family?
We will keep the hunting and fishing traditions going that you inspired. Jägr to Jägr - Waidmannsheil!! See you on the other side my brother but until then we will carry on the kindness, camaraderie, and brandy and 7's.

Even though you weren't my uncle, you will always be uncle peter to me. I've heard my brothers, Ben, Chris & Matt tell me the same stories of you babysitting them probably 100 times, but they never get old. You're one of the kindest, most caring, loving & hardworking men I've known. The Wisconsin river & the woods won't be the same without you, but legends never die.

Pete was someone my husband and I always dealt with at Johnson Bank. He came highly recommended to us, and he lived up to that reputation. He was such a pleasant soft spoken man. He had a lovely smile and always made us feel
special. He was just a wonderful person.

no words to describe the loss we are feeling on everyones level, peter was just a nice guy, handsome, even as he got older, cuz his personality shined through. He enjoyed adventure, and challenges, or make a bet which made him stronger. Hard worker and not a quitter. Loved all his family and friends believe me he did. So as he passed on this earth, I'm sure he will stay alive in many peoples memory and I am sure of that,,, Kathy Silkwood, katrinky

I'm so very sorry to learn of Pete's passing. Pete was a very good friend during our High School days and remember all the crazy things we did. We saw each other a few times during our adult life, but it was always a party when we shared stories. My thoughts and prayers to the Stone Family during this difficult time.
