Im so sorry to find out Pete has passed away. He was our mortgage loan banker and was such a kind and gentle soul. When I noticed we had a different banker recently, I was hoping it was because Pete had retired! He always seemed to be the last person in the bank and to be extremely contentious and hard-working. He made a lasting impression on us and the world will have a little less joy in it without him...

Pam, Jenny, and Kristy; I have to say that Uncle Peter was one of the nicest people I ever known with such a kind, positive, soul. He always had a smile on his face, a good story to tell, and was one of those people that everyone loved to be around. I have good memories of spending time with U. Peter and friends and family on the WI River, tubing, cliff jumping, fishing, swimming, boating, Frank and Marty Picnics, and everyone, sitting around the camp fire at night. Also going to the...

When I think of Pete I remember a party in my parents basement. Pete was sitting in a bean bag chair across the room from the stereo when he called over to me, smiled that Pete smile, and made a twisting gesture with his hand. He wanted me to turn up the music. Whenever I turn up my stereo I think of Pete. I attended a lot of great concerts with and because of Pete (who remembers Ticketron?). I had a lot of great times with Pete and the guys. I'm sad to hear he is gone but, he will...

So sorry for your loss Pam. Pete was truly one of the great ones. Constant smile and always a kind word. He was a pleasure to have a beer and bs with. Also dealing with him at the bank was always smooth and easy. He was a great people person. I will truly miss him. My condolences to you and your family.

My wife and I have been dealing with Pete for many years at the bank. I remember when he departed Bank One, we followed him to Johnson Bank because of his professionalism, personal approach to his clients, and just being a really great individual. Over time and conversations, we talked about upper Wisconsin, turkey hunting, fishing, and having fun. Pete always took extra time with us... and, our banker became our friend. What a GREAT guy! We will miss you Pete...

U Pete the impact you have on so many is infinite. A dedicated family and business man. You were always there for us all. You were many soldiers view into the latest deer or fishing report, a reflection of the US, back home. You and the Johnson Bank team would always laugh at the strange numbers coming in as I called from all over the world. From the Middle East, Africa, and Europe your deer pics and river photos were inspirational to all as we fought on. I always received the same...
