BURLINGTON - Randy C. Thurin, 60, of Burlington, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2021 at his home.
Born in Viroqua, WI on March 21, 1961, he was the son of Conrad and Shirley (nee Graham) Thurin. His early life was spent in Twin Lakes, where he graduated from Randall Grade School and Wilmot High School. Randy and Cathy made their home in Burlington.
Randy was a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs, assisting his neighbors, helping people in general and making people laugh. He loved the outdoors, creating with his hands and was a Chicago Bears fan. He also loved spending time with his family.
Randy is survived by the love of his life, Cathy Saal; fur babies: Jed and Ellie Mae; siblings: Judy (Chuck) Loth, Rodney (Brenda) Thurin, and Brenda Stevenson; mother-in-law, Sandy Saal; brothers-in-law: Wayde (Sue) Saal and Ron (April) Saal; nieces and nephews: Jonathan (Kylee) Stevenson, Michael (Kayla) Stevenson, Michalia Thurin, Jacob Saal, Nicholas Saal, Cody (Ashlyn) Saal, Hailey Saal and Austin Saal; god daughter, Natasha McCarthy; along with many aunts, uncles other relatives; and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Kevin Stevenson and father-in-law Ronald Saal.
A visitation for Randy will be held Friday, November 12, 2021 from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home.
