Abad Family
August 17, 2025
Hi again! This is Marilou Abad and my previous message was sent but not complete. My condolences, Mary Ann, Charlie, Paulyn, Camosy family and to our dearest Jenny, Jonathan, Gina, and Thads! We got to know more about Ray (and Mary Ann) when you 3 older Camosy children would share your adventurous and fun summers with your grandpa and grandma- horseback riding and tutorial lessons to name a few! Such a generous heart!! Now that you´re all adults , except, Thads, do remember these beautiful memories with your grandpa!
Treasure them and do take time to be with your grandma Mary Ann! Missing you all! Your Grandpa Ray is now in peaceful, loving place greeted by our Lord Jesus, Mama Mary, and with a big smile (remember his smile?) from our brother, Deacon Ernie!! Sending our hugs from CA- Tita Marilou, Tita Marissa and Tito Tony

To the family and friends of Ray my deepest and most sincere condolences.
My memories of Ray go back to our days at Grant Elementary and Washington Junior High Schools in
Kenosha,Wisconsin. We used foot power those days to get to school and we met most of our classmates along the way. Ray was one of them. Over the course of our six grades we learn a lot about each each other our families, our classmates , etc. Plus we often were in each others class. Things I learned about Ray, he was funny, he was long winded in class, he could be argumentative, he was kind ,he loved his family and his church even at a young age.
In Junior high he must have had some one who had passed their drivers test so he was riding to school and I did not see him as often. From there he also went to a different high school.
It is so wonderful to see how well Raymond did in his life .
May all your memories of him comfort you at this time.
Ray rest in peace dear old friend.

Very sorry to hear this. I live in California, and on occasion I will read the Kenosha News on line, which is where I saw Raymond's obituary. My sympathies to Mary Ann, and to your children. He truly was a kind and generous person. I met Raymond's brother Art when I was 12 years old. He introduced me to Raymond. Together we played baseball, went swimming, played golf, and went to the movies. Those were great times.
I have lived in Southern California with my wife Suzanne, and our daughters since 1978. Please feel free to pass my email address [email protected] on to Art.
Thank you, and God Bless.
