Richard W. Smart Jr.

1952-2018

Richard W. Smart Jr., 65, of Kenosha, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018, at Froedtert South Kenosha Medical Center Campus.

Born on June 4, 1952, he was the son of the late Richard and Patricia (Ryan) Smart.

He is survived by his step son and friend, Chris Mitchem; a son, James John; three sisters, Mary, Diane, and Barbara; his honorary niece and friend, Dani Friedrich; and close friends, Markena, Mike, and Big Jerry. He is further survived by numerous other beloved friends, too many to mention.

We would all like to thank the CCU staff and doctors at Froedtert South Kenosha Hospital and his primary, Dr. Poullette, for Richard's care. We would also like to thank KMCC Spiritual Services, Chaplain Bauer, and Information Nurse Jenny for their help in Richard's final hours.

A memorial gathering for Richard will be held on Saturday, May 5th, at Glenwood Apartments Community Room, 1920 27th Avenue, from 12 noon 3 p.m.
