1957 - 2012

Ronnie Childs, 55, of Kenosha passed away Wednesday Nov. 21, 2012, at UHS-Kenosha.

Ronnie was born on May 20, 1957, in Zion, Ill., the son of Lonnie Biggs and Dorothy Greer. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, attending Bradford High School. He was employed at Chrysler and Jewel/Osco for many years. His hobbies included playing and watching basketball, art and drawing, but most of all spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Greer of Kenosha; a brother, Curtis (Amy) Childs of Madison, Wis.; sisters, Vivian (Marvin Varnell) Childs of Kenosha, Deidre Childs of Chicago; and his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Lonnie Biggs, a brother in infancy, Sharper, his grandmother, Pauline Fisher, and a niece, Latheria Childs.

A visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 10 a.m. to 12 noon with funeral services to follow at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.

To the Family of Ronnie: We are so very Sorry for your loss. When I knew him he was just a kid. It has been a long time, since I saw him, but he was always nice to alot of people. May God be with you thru this difficult time in your lives. Again Sorry Jolene & Family
