Taylor Lipper Obituary
1998 - 2017
Taylor Darren Lipper, 18, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 5, 2017.
He was born April 27, 1998, in Nashville, Tenn. As a child of a military service member, he lived all over the United States. For the last eight years, he was a resident of Kenosha, Wis.
Taylor was a high school senior and had planned to become a paramedic. He loved playing his bass guitar and was a wonderful friend to all in his life.
He is survived by his father Donald Lipper, Maryville, Tenn.; his mother Holly Lipper (Jason Teeter), Jefferson, Wis.; brother, Donald Lipper, Clarksville, Tenn.; paternal grandmother, Joann Lipper, Lake Geneva, Wis.; maternal grandparents Grace Davis and Arthur Buck, Milford, ME; aunts Heidi (Rick) England, Bangor, ME, Julie (James) McGuaine, Houston, Tex., and Jodi (Patrick) Keller, Wauwatosa, Wis.; and cousins Kimberly, Taylor, Gracelyn, Ian, Willow, Raven, Sam, Jack, Hannah and Charlie.
Visitation will be held from 5-6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at North Point Community Church, 900 Lewis Avenue, Winthrop Harbor, IL. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6:30 p.m. Pastor Tim Bycroft will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Taylor may be made to his Go Fund Me account at https://www.gofundme.com/taylor-lipper-memorial-bench. Proceeds will go toward purchasing a memorial park bench in Taylor's honor. Any extra funds collected will be donated to promote suicide awareness and prevention.

I just learned of this and I´m so sorry.. I´ve been trying to reach Donnie.. We suffered another tragedy as well, we lost Ricky the youngest not even two years ago.. I´ve been trying to reach Donnie for a long bit and don´t know where to start so please help

Donald, Holly, & Donald,
I am so sorry to hear about the tragic loss of your son/brother, Taylor. I will always remember Taylor's witty sense of humor and brilliant smile from when I had him in my 5th grade classroom just 7 years ago at Jane Vernon. Holly, I remember too well how Taylor responded to and adored you for the upbeat person that you were then, and most likely are today. Obviously things were not always easy for Taylor, but please know that he touched my life in that 5th grade classroom. I can still sense his enthusiasm to tell me about anything new that he experienced or learned. Even though Taylor was not one of my own children, I was proud to have had him in my classroom and knowing he was one of the "Landgrafs from Jane Vernon".
I send hugs and prayers to the entire Lipper family. Allow yourself time to sit back on Taylor's bench and reflect on the good that he did for all of us during his short time on earth. Please let me know when the bench is ready so I can join you for a moment of memory sharing. Taylor was a great kid!!
