In July 2000, Dr. Young saved my life. I was diagnosed with an unruptured brain aneurysm, and Dr. Young performed that surgery. To this day, his handshake is the most comforting and the most stable handshake I've ever had. My sincere condolences go to his family.

I am very sorry to hear of Dr. Young´s passing. I started working in Neurosurgery in 2006 for Dr. Tibbs. I would see Dr. Young briefly when he was in clinic. Dr. Young did have a good sense of humor that I really liked we actually would leave at the same time and one day he said I bet I can beat you out of this building with a huge smile on his face. I looked at him and said you probably can Dr. Young as we walked down the hall and headed to the door to go outside. I will prayers up for the Young family.
