Andrew Hoyt Kidder

Denver, Colorado - Andrew Hoyt Kidder, 50, Denver, Colorado, lost his battle with leukemia on February 28, 2025. Drew grew up in Lexington, Kentucky and attended Sayre School and Henry Clay. Upon graduating from Purdue (Delta Tau Delta) he moved to Denver as a civil engineer where he also received an MBA from the University of Denver. He was the son of Dr. Charles Kidder (Nancy) and Janet Toth Allen and the brother of Ben Kidder (Jill), Lexington. He has left behind his sons Ziggy, 16 and Linus, 14 who live with their mother in Denver. A special thank you to his dear friend Jessi Maxwell and Jamie Protopapa (Ryan), mother of Ziggy and Linus, who supported and cared for Andrew throughout his battle. In lieu of flowers you may contribute to his GoFundMe to help cover medical expenses.

Dear Jan and Chuck.. It has been years since I have seen either one of you but I was stunned and saddened to read about your son, Andrews death.
There are no words to truly express my sadness for everyone but I remember your boys when they were little and then as young men and when I was at Bedford Farm.
