I am very sorry to learn of Anita's death. We shared a suite in UK's Keeneland Hall 1964-65. I remembered she was so happy and eager to become a wife and a teacher. She always had a smile. From her obituary and these writings of this guest book, I can tell she succeeded. May the good memories sustain you and keep her in your heart always.

It is with great sadness that I am sending this message to the entire Mersack family. Anita was such a wonderful, giving person. She contributed so much to TAI, and it is very thoughtful that you ask for donations to be made in her memory to the religious school. When I taught Sunday school many years ago, I shared the classroom next to hers. Students always loved Anita and would come back to see her. She had such a positive way with students and the students in my Kdgn class couldn't wait to be in Mrs Mersack's first grade class. She will be missed by all and I know it's a hard time for you. May you think of the good times you shared together . She loved sharing stories about her grandchildren. Sorry I am not in town to be at her funeral with you. Ralph, Amy, and Jeremy also send their condolences to the family.
