Audra Stacy Obituary

STACY, Audra McKenzie, 89, formerly of West Liberty, widow of Bernard Stacy, died Wed. She was a homemaker and an active partner in their family business, Stacy Fencing Co., for 45 years. She was born Jan. 12, 1915 in West Liberty, daughter of Oscar and Ada Day McKenzie. She was a member of the West Liberty First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bernard; one sister, Edra Burton; one brother, Arnold "Buck" McKenzie; and a great granddaughter, Avery Mckenzie Schambacher. She is survived by one son Terry Stacy of KY; one daughter Ruth Frances Stacy Votaw and husband J.T. of Ft.Worth, TX; three grandchildren, Rick Votaw and wife Susan, Darron Votaw and wife Rhonda, and Charlotte Schambacher and husband Scott all of Ft. Worth, TX; three great grandchildren, Cody, Taylor, and Ashley; one sister, Ruth Conover of Burlington, KY; and many loving nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be at the Salyer Cemetery, West Liberty, KY, Sat. at 2 pm, with Bro. Tom Thomas officiating. Visitation from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Sat. at the Potter Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Memorials suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or to one's choice. Guestbook at Legacy.com

WE ARE SO SORRY TO HEAR OF THE LOSS OF YOUR MOM. WE GREW TO LOVE HER ANDYOUR DAD AND TERRY, WHILE WORKING FOR THEM TO HELP WITH THEIR LITTLE JOBS AROUND THE HOUSE.. THEY WERE TRULY LOVING PEOPLE. WE ARE SO SORRY THAT WE CAN'T BE THERE FOR THE FUNERAL. OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU IN THIS SAD TIME.
