Bertha Sullivan Fister

GEORGETOWN - Bertha Sullivan Fister, 84, widow of Carl A. Fister, to whom she had been married for 60 years died Fri, Feb 27, 2009 at her home. She was the owner of Bi-Water Farm & Greenhouse and a resident of Scott County since 1959. A native of Lexington and the daughter of the late Clinton T. and Rebecca Sue Sullivan and was a graduate of Lafayette High School. She is a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Lexington. Survivors include her children: Carol Lee, Susan (David) Thompson, Stephen (Deborah) Fister, Chris (Joy) Fister, Leonard (Manesia) Fister, Cindy (John) Costigan, Andrea (Bill) Hayes, Phil and C.A. Fister; her grandchildren: Michelle (Neal) Cobb, Nathan, Emily, Jeffrey & Sarah Thompson, Laura (Rob) May, Victoria, Christopher (Mary), Nicholas, Allison, Elizabeth, Matthew, Jennifer and Melissa Fister, Jessica, Michaela, Rebecca and Jillian Hayes; several great-grandchildren, her brothers: Charles Sullivan & John (Juanita) Sullivan. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clinton T. Sullivan, Jr. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11am Tue at St. Paul Catholic Church by Father Dan Noll. Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery. Casket bearers will be; Mark Sullivan and Mike Hutchinson and her grandsons, Nathan & Jeffrey Thompson, Christopher, Nicholas and Matthew Fister.
