Bonnie, Frank and I taught a Personal Motivation Philosophy back in the "60"'s, she was an inspiration, that there is nothing I can't do, have been interested in Mark and Mathew, but as I have been out of the country for many years, have had NO knowledge of how to contact either of them, now at 95, I am in Cedar Park, Texas

Hi Matthew,
I just ran across a copy of Bonnie's book that you gave me years ago. I remember you being so proud of her and her work. I also remember how much you loved her. She was a rad and wise woman (I know I don't have to tell you that!). You are in my thoughts.
Love,
Heather

I wanted to let you both know that your mother was a remarkable women to all that she came in contact with including me. I worked in the facility she stayed at and I came to care for her greatly. Bonnie and I developed a wonderful friendship and we would talk alot about our children and she would tell me just how proud she was of her two boys and just how in love with the both of you she was she would beam with joy when speaking of the two of you! She was full of such love for everyone and she showed that in every thing that she did. I had a lot of respect and love for her. Bonnie is always in my heart and that's where she will remain until the end of my days.

I remember watching Bonnie on tv because my Dad worked with her brother. Then when I was a student at MSU, I got to meet Bonnie when she was a student there. She was a great inspiration because she went ahead and did things without saying "I cannot do that".

I feel so privelaged to have known Bonnie and became close friends with her over the past year in the facility where she was staying. She was the bright spot in my day and I looked forward to going to work because of her. She has changed my entire outlook on life and I will never be the same since meeting her. She has been such an inspiration to me as well as many others in the world and I feel lucky to be able to call her my friend. I will miss her terribly but I know that she is in a better place. We had a scheduled "date" every day for 1:30 pm to smoke a cigarette and for the rest of my life I will think of her at his time every day and remember all of our wonderful talks and our times together.

I send your family my condolences. I had met your mother a few times throughout the years as my mother, Edna Rowe Ingram and Bonnie were best friends at the Presbyterian High School in Frenchburg. My mom has told many stories of Bonnie’s strength and convictions to be treated not as a handicap woman, but as a woman who was like any other. In your time of sorrow, find solace knowing that your mother touched many lives and has left a legacy of inspiration to all those who knew her.

My condolences to the family. Many years ago when I was in High School I saw the film Bonnie made. She was quite an inspiration. Although I never knew her personally, I felt as if I did. She and my father went to school together in Menifee County, Ky. I grew up hearing about Bonnie and what a great person she was. May God look over the family.
Sincerely,

I was privileged to have known Bonnie in the mid-1970 when she lived in Northern Calfornia. I visited her in her home with her then husband, Frank Consolo, and her two sons, Matthew and Mark, who were very young at the time (both great kids whom their Mom was very proud of.) I don't know if Frank is still living, but he was a wonderful man. I had both lunch and dinner with them. Bonnie was in the middle of making her film "A Day in the Life of Bonnie Consolo."
If anyone would like to contact me for further infomation, I would be happy to respond.
Larry

My mother was a classmate of Bonnie's at Frenchburg, and she spoke admiringly of her bravery and "can-do" attitude. May God bless you and comfort you.

My condolence goes out to all the family. I didn't know Bonnie but have read articles about her. I, too, was born without arms and was alway interested in reading about and meeting others.
