Bradley Leasor Obituary

Bradley "Brad" Dennis Leasor

January 18, 1949 - July 18, 2024

Paris, Kentucky - Bradley Dennis Leasor, known affectionately as Brad to his friends and loved ones, passed away on July 18, 2024, at the age of 75. Born on January 18, 1949, in Louisville, Kentucky, Brad was a man of integrity, warmth, and unwavering kindness. He departed this life in Paris, Kentucky, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and service.

Brad is survived by his devoted wife of 51 years, Reda Ward Leasor. Together, they built a life filled with joy and companionship. He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Leasor, and his mother, Alberta Martin. Brad's memory will be cherished by his sister, Donna Ruppell; his half-brother, Randall Leasor; and his half-sister, Susan (John) Allen. His cousin, Chris (Toni) Hoehle; his aunt, Charlotte (Bob) Newton; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry and Doris Ward, will also hold him dear in their hearts.

Brad honorably served his country as a United States Army Veteran, a chapter of his life that instilled in him a profound sense of duty and respect. His career spanned 30 years in circulation with the Lexington Herald Leader Newspaper, where his dedication and work ethic were evident to all who knew him. Later in life, Brad found joy in entrepreneurship as the owner/operator of Leasor Hauling, where he became a familiar and friendly face to many as he hauled rock, sand, and mulch throughout the area.

A passionate antique car enthusiast, Brad was an active member of the Antique Car Club of America. His love for vintage automobiles was more than a hobby; it was a way to connect with friends and fellow enthusiasts. Brad enjoyed touring with the club, sharing stories, and admiring the beauty of these classic vehicles. His presence at car shows and events will be deeply missed.

Brad was a believer in the Lord Jesus and renewed his beliefs at The Assembly of God Church in Lexington, KY several years ago. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, providing him with guidance and comfort. He lived his beliefs through his actions, always ready to lend a hand or offer a word of support to those in need.

Those who knew Brad would describe him as a man of passion, thoughtfulness, and kindness. He approached life with a gentle spirit and a generous heart. Brad's ability to see the good in people and situations left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.

As we bid farewell to Bradley Dennis Leasor, we celebrate a life well-lived. Brad's legacy is one of love, service, and the simple joys of life. His memory will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him, and his influence will be felt for generations to come.

A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. Brad, you were a beacon of light in the lives of many, and your warmth will continue to shine in our hearts forever. Rest in peace, dear Brad, until we meet again.

There are no services planned, burial will be at a later date in the Sunet Memorial Gardens, Irvine, KY.
