Calvin Cheap Obituary
August 8, 1951 - January 17, 2022
Naples, Florida - Calvin Cranston Cheap, 70, passed away January 17th in Naples Florida. He divided his time between Marco Island, Fl and Flemingsburg, Ky. Calvin is the son of the late John and Doris Cheap of Flemingsburg Ky, he was born in Lexington, Ky August 8th 1951.
Calvin was a shinning example of living life to its fullest. He could light up a room with his infectious smile & break the tension of any situation with his goofy sense of humor. Calvin loved boating, fishing, golfing & his annual hunting trip with his friends.
Calvin poured his heart and passion into continuing his family's legacy with Cheap's Chevrolet. He will be greatly missed by family & friends in both Kentucky & Florida. Calvin served in the Mason, was a founding member of the Fleming County Rotary, and has served as Deacon at Christian Churches in both Flemingsburg, Ky and Marco Island, Fl.
We are at peace knowing he gave his life to the Lord & is now in God's presence with family and friends who proceeded him home.
Calvin is survived by this loving wife Jenny Cheap, daughters Sybil Berryman (Bryan) and Cristan Grensing (Sonny). Five grandchildren Abbigale Grensing, Collin Grensing, Mia Berryman, Cambree Grensing, and Farrah Berryman, his sisters Paula Hyatt, Susan Bucher (Scott) and a host of loving nieces and nephews. Calvin was preceded in death by his parents John & Doris Cheap and his brother in law Jewett Hyatt.
Calvin's life was celebrated on Sunday January 23rd at Hammock Bay Golf Club. In leui of flowers, donations can be made in Calvin's honor to St. Matthews House in Naples, Fl or The Flemingsburg Christian Church in Flemingsburg, Ky.

As a Chevrolet District Manager in the early '70's, I called on John & Calvin Cheap at the dealership in Flemingsburg. Calvin was always very knowledgeable and at the same time, fun to be around. I was really saddened to learn of his passing.......my deepest sympathy to the entire family.
