Linda and Roger,
I was stunned to learn that Chris died. I can only imagine the pain you are in. You both poured so much love and support into both your sons. Words can't relieve your suffering. I will be holding you in my heart. My phone is still 8593331945 if you want to reach out. Love, Sharon

Use your five senses to remember your sweet boy:
See the smile in his face
Hear the sound of his voice
Taste his favorite foods
Smell the campfires he would sit by
Most of all remember the young people he inspired and the characters he built.
Kevin is now showing Chris around above us.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Chris´s passing. My memories of your family reach back decades as our paths have crossed in many ways. I counted Chris as a friend & enjoyed our interactions as it related to the Scouting world & the ties we had as families. My sincerest condolences & prayers for peace & comfort as you mourn. I know Chris was a man of deep faith & I am confident he rests within the arms of our savior. Isaiah 40:29-31
"He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary; and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint"

Please know how very sorry I am that you are going through this great loss. Chris and I became friends through his work at SSA. We spoke every week for years and even after I relocated to Missouri. I know you are so proud to be his parents, knowing what a terrific person you raised. He will be greatly missed.

We are so sorry to hear of Chris' passing. We knew Chris from his years as manager of the University of Kentucky women's volleyball team when our daughter, Leigh Marcum, played. He was a devoted UK fan, always kind, and fulfilled his duties and beyond. He also loved the cookies that Leigh's grandmother would bake for the team! We loved connecting with him at alumni matches. Our sympathies to the friends and family of Boots, as he was affectionately known. Deb & Joe Marcum

So sorry for your loss. I supervised Chris for nearly ten years before I retired in 2017 and thought a lot of him. We had many good conversations. He looked so much like my grandson and also my brother who had passed away when he was 28. We always got a chuckle about that. So sad about the loss. Prayers for the family and friends.
