I am entering this guest book entry for Dana's mother, Dottie. I clean her house for her and try to get to visit with her sometimes and I know that whenever I go over there she shows me more and more pictures of Dana and the beautiful person she was. I have heard so much about her and I know that she must have been a great person and she had a mother that loved her dearly. This is what Dottie (her mother) wrote for me to write in this guest book.
Honey, if only you knew how much I miss you. I think of you every day and pray for you. I know that you are happy with God.
She couldn't write much more because it was upsetting her so I told her that I would fill in the rest. From what I have seen of Dottie and the way that she talks about "Her Dana" I would love to have been able to meet her. Her mother cherishes the time that she did get to spend with Dana and she loves the son that Dana left in her legacy. "Her Dana" meant the world to her and she misses her very much. I love to stay with her and just talk about "Her Dana". "Her Dana" was a beautiful human being and I know that she touched plenty of people while she was here on Earth. I hope that this does Dottie's "Her Dana" good and I tried my very best to explain what Dottie had told me about "Her Dana" Dana, you are missed dearly, but prayed for constantly. I tell Dottie that I know that you are looking in on her from heaven, watching her and helping her through her hard times of missing you. Stay with your mother Dana, she needs you dearly.

To the family of Dana Matteola Bayless, you are in my prayers, if this Dana Matteola is the daughter of Dottie Matteola, then I am shocked to learn of her death, if not you are still in my thoughts and prayers. I was a classmate and friend of Dana as we grew up in Lexington at Lafayetter HS. Sincerely. Marilyn Glass Owens
