Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Fannin Family and friends know that we will be sending Care Packages to troops in Afghanistan this week and we'll be dedicating several of these to your loved one. Each package will carry the name, photo and the hometown of Daniel N. Fannin US Air Force Staff Sergeant . We realize that this is a small tribute, but we do this with all respect and sincerity and we want you to know that it is made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals from across the American youth hockey community. We will not forget. May God Bless you and keep you strong.

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Daniel will never be forgotten.

I did not know him but I am greatful for his service. The American Legion Post 20 will show honor to him and his family by proudly flying our Trail Of Honor Flags on the last two miles to the National Cemetery today! I had the honor of knowing SSgt. Fannin briefly during his stay at Tinker AFB. While working in the library there, he quickly became one of my favorite patrons to see. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say. God speed to him.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Dan in the 965th AACS around 2004-2005. As his direct supervisor, I can tell you that Dan was a very fine Airman. His professionalism, attention to detail and dedication to the US Air Force were unparalleled. Godspeed young man!

I am honored to say that Danny was a great friend that I got the pleasure of serving with and spending time with during our time here at Tinker. There's a huge hole left in our band of brothers. As we reflect on our great times that we had as friends, he will be sorely missed. It's hard to believe that he's gone, but I find peace in knowing that I'll see him again someday. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife and his family. RIP brother.

I had the distinct pleasure of serving in the USAF together with Dan as his squadron mate in the 965th AACS at Tinker AFB. Dan also attended Church with us for a time while we were at Tinker together. My family will always have the fondest memories of Dan. May our Lord pour out his grace over your family during this difficult time. Rest assured Dan lives with the Savior now in glory.

Its hard to express sorrow for a person that I have barely gotten to know. However, the tragedy of loosing a solider, a brother in Christ and a man of honor has brought me to thinking of his family, friends, and his fellow soliders. I pray my friends that the Lord be with you in your time of grief and that the Lord Jesus Christ give you the comfort in these times of sorrow! Dear Fannin Family, thank you for loaning Daniel to us to serve our country and to protect our freedom and Constitution. Thank you Daniel for your service and sacrifice. We weep with you, as we lift you in our prayers asking God to comfort you and surround you with His love and mercy as you grieve Daniel's passing, now and in the days ahead.
