LEXINGTON, Kentucky - Daniel Richard Hogue II, 54, of Lexington, KY passed away surrounded by everyone who loved him at the University of Kentucky Medical Center on October 9, 2025. Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 5-8pm at Milward-Man O' War, 1509 Trent Blvd Lexington, KY 40515. The funeral services will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 1:30pm followed by the internment at Lexington Cemetery. Born in Jackson, Tennessee, on August 7, 1971, Daniel loved God and his family above everything else followed closely by arguing and being right. When he and his beloved wife of 31 years, Julie, weren't enjoying one of their many trips to Disney, Daniel was an avid Steelers fan who enjoyed fantasy football, vloging/video production, Escape Rooms, Basketball, and the "purity of boredom". Mr. Hogue has worked as the Business Operations Supervisor at Central Kentucky Management for the past 17 years. A proud member of the "work from home" crew, Daniel leaves behind countless family memories that will live on well beyond him. From the Great Smokey Mountains to the Frozen ride at Disney, Daniel is the epitome of a family man. Daniel is survived by his wife, Julie and his children, Courtney and Trevin. He is also survived by his mother, Carolyn and his younger brother, Reginald. He will always be Uncle Daniel to Amisha, Laila, Mallory, Nevaeh, Taylor, Trent, Trinity, and Ty. He got to experience being a grandfather to the precious Ruth. In the last four months of his life, Daniel was connected with and had begun building a relationship with his daughter, Ianne.
