Danville, Kentucky - Darrell Houston, 84, of Danville, passed away Monday, November 14, 2022, at his residence. He was the husband of Sandra Spencer Houston for 62 years. Born on November 8, 1938, in Letcher County, KY, he was the son of the late Walter and Cannie Couch Stidham. Mr. Houston was a U.S. Army Veteran and had been employed as an Application Engineer for Parker Hannifin in Lexington. Survivors other than his wife include one daughter, Alesia (Danny) Ryan; five grandchildren, Cam Ryan (Megan), Craig Ryan (Brittany), Cody Ryan, Connor Ryan, and Tyler Houston; three great grandchildren, Natalia Sipes, Brayden Ryan, and Adaline Ryan. He was predeceased by a son, Alonzo Darrell Houston Jr. A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:30pm on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home – Harrodsburg Rd by Father Linh Nguyen and Father Anthony McLaughlin. A Christian burial will follow at Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:30am until the service time. Memorial Contributions are suggested the St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 117 W Main St, Danville, KY 40422.
