HAZARD - David Anderson Duff, age 67, of Chavies, KY passed away on July 03, 2017 in Snowmass, Colorado. David was born on December 08, 1949 in Hazard, KY. He was the son of the late Ira Donald Duff, Sr. and the late Paulena York Duff. He is also preceded in death by one brother: Ira Donald Duff, Jr. "Razor". David attended Chavies and Hazard Elementary, Hazard High School and graduated with honors from Morehead State University. He was the former owner and operator of Pine Branch Coal Company. He leaves surviving his beloved wife: Susan Armstrong Duff; one daughter: Lori (Chad) Warrix; one son: Ryan (Heather) Duff; four grandchildren: Elijah Ryan Warrix, Olivia Grace Warrix, Wyatt David Duff and Jack Ryan Duff along with a host of special family and friends visitation 1pm to 4:44pm Sunday July 09, 2017 at Red Hill Cemetery in Chavies, KY. Funeral Service: 4:44pm Sunday July 09, 2017 at Red Hill Cemetery with Simmie Ray Bowling officiating. Interment: Private Burial at a later time. In lieu of flowers family request donations to be made to Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center, Hazard Perry County Senior Citizens Center, Hazard Independent School System or Perry County School System. Pallbearers will include: Ryan Duff, Chad Warrix, Eli Warrix, Lew Warrix, Charles Spencer, Jay Bowles, Sam Kilgore, Ricky Campbell, Bobby Mullins, Duke Gayheart, David Culton, Bernie Faulkner and Harvey Whitaker.
