Services for Dorothy I. Bibbs will be held at First African Baptist Church, November 13, 2025.
Visitation is from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., time for homecoming celebration.
In lieu of flowers the family request monetary contributions be sent to First African Baptist Church Scholarship fund, 465 Price Rd, Lexington, Ky 40508.
Smith and Smith Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

My dear Mrs Bibbs, you were a timeless, devoted, lovely angel from God! I feel as though I grew up with your family in my teenage days on through college with your precious older daughter Teresa, my best friend in college...and in high school!
Also knowing baby sister Billie Frances and baby brother Phillip and that wonderful Father, Mr Bibbs.....
From First Baptist Church on Short Street to college at Morehead State University...
Teresa and I were best buds...
You were always such a special Mom and Mentor!
May God bless you and the Family.... Rest in Peace dear one...
My youngest sister Debbie, is also thinking of you today....
She made your passing known to me....
I am grateful she shared this info with me...
I spoke with you on the phone while you were in your 90´s!
You were absolutely remarkable and fantastic and a very special lady....
