It is hard to realize that a year has passed since little Draven died.
We send our love and best wishes to his mother and father, Misty and Wally, also Draven's brother, sisters, grandparents and many friends. We know Draven will always hold a special place in your hearts.

I am so sorry to hear about this terrible tragedy. Recently we had a 4 year old to die in my husband's family. It is always a shame to hear of such an event. Please accept our deepest and heartfelt sympathy for you and your family.

Misty and Wally, I am so sorry to hear about little Draven. I could never imagine the pain you are going through. Losing a child is every parents worst nightmare. I read once that when you lose your parents you are an orphan, when you lose your spouse, you are a widow or widower, but what are you when you lose your child? There is no answer for that one, I know. I pray that God will just hold you all in his hand and comfort you until you can meet again.. My thoughts and prayers are with you all..

I am so sorry for your period of trial and now your tremendous loss right when you thought things were going to work out. Only God knows why He took your brave little boy home to be with Him. He suffers no more. Only those left behind grieve and suffer. Trust God for comfort, don't let anyone rob you of your grief and don't let guilt in (it has no place in grief). Celebrate your son's life. (I learned of this through your relatives Sam & Faye Stamper who are friends of mine.)

I loved Draven with all my heart and I loved him as he was my own. I will deeply miss watching Barney, blowing bubbles, dancing and singing to him. I grew very attached to him and so did everybody thats works at Children's Hospital on B5W. We will all miss him very much, and my thoughts and prayers are with Misty, Wallie and his Draven's brothers and sisters. They will never know how great of a child he was. With all my heart, I will deeply miss him.

Draven was one of the sweetest little boys I have ever met. Such a special little guy, and such a fighter! I treasure the time I got to spend with Draven, especially some of our long nights together, blowing bubbles and painting. He was truly a little angel who touched everyone he met. His family is in my prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Draven Tyler Bowman. We are friends of Faye and Sam Stamper. Linda's mother was Francis Mae Stamper Fossitt, originally from Eastern Kentucky. Linda's neice Jody Hansen died in Atlanta, Ga. August, 2005, also of liver problems. She was 41 yrs. old and leaves behind 3 sons, Sam, Max and Alex.

Draven will be missed by all of the lives that he has touched. He truly is an angel. I will miss singing itsy bitsy spider (his favorite song) and rubbing his big bald head while pounding on his diaper to get him to sleep. I will always remember his smiles and belly jiggling laugh. Seeing draven was the highlight of my day. I know that he has a special place in heaven and it probably has bubbles there too. I loved Draven as if he were my own and will deeply miss him.

I will never forget the night time rocking sessions that I shared with Draven at Children's. He holds a special place in my heart for a lifetime. Thank you for all the memories. You all are in my prayers and thoughts daily.

Cincinnati Children's will miss our sweet Draven...His little face to light up our everyday. He loved blowing bubbles, Barney, Baths and "dancing." May he always be remembered this way. He is now in a better place, and yet will not be forgotten!

Draven will be missed by so many of us here at Children's Hospital. He was here for such a long time and a huge part of our lives. We cared for him day after day as if he was our own. We watched him fight for his life so many times. He was loved by everyone. He will ALWAYS be in my thoughts and prayers.
