I would like to send my condolences to the smith family. Duke, was a huge fixture to the David's Fork Family. Walking through the doors, will never be the same. No matter what was going on in his life, or on his shoulders he always greeted you with a smile on his face. Betty he spoke very adoring of you. Even though we have never met, I felt like I knew you through Dukes eyes. He was a loving, caring man of his family and church. My thoughts and prayers be with you.

Dearest Betty, My career started in Mullins with ULT with Duke, and then we moved to Lumberton with the Extruder, and then when the company finished the extruder in Lexington Duke pulled me into that wonderful city to be his office manager. He and Patsy Foster rolled out the red carpet with Gandy Clayton running the show. I have spent some 34 years with ULT and Duke was a part of all those years for the most part. Thank you for you kind friendship and tireless business ethics. Our biggest job was keeping informed of Miss Betty's birthday and ya'll aniversary.......so hope we didn't miss any. The last time I saw him was this year at Hattie's where he has breakfast, lunch and supper. Thanks Miss Hattie for taking care of him. May the Good Lord keep you in the palm of HIS hand. Love you both and thanks for all the bucket eyes for Christmas....Banks Cribb
