Edward Fisher Obituary

Dr. Edward Fisher

November 7, 1957 - April 22, 2024

Danville, Kentucky - Dr. Edward Fisher, beloved chiropractor and cherished member of the Danville community, passed away on April 22, 2024. Born in Covington, Kentucky on November 7, 1957, Dr. Fisher dedicated his life to healing others through his practice. A graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Fisher's passion for chiropractic care began in 1985. In 1988, he founded his own practice in Danville, where he became known for his compassionate care and commitment to his patients. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dr. Fisher was an entrepreneur with a playful spirit. His love for laughter and practical jokes brightened the lives of those around him. Every April, he delighted in pulling off clever pranks. In his leisure time, Dr. Fisher found solace in nature. He enjoyed hiking, strolling through the park with his beloved dogs, and escaping to the beach twice a year. But above all, he cherished moments spent with his wife Claudia and his family, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Claudia Johnson Fisher, daughter, Chelsea Fisher Cope (Stuart) of Nashville; son, Bo Fisher (Madeline) of Lexington; brother, David Fisher of Erlanger; nieces, Annie King (Scott Loomis), Kerry Stetter (Matt) and Colleen Crisler (Travis), all of northern Kentucky; great nephews, Luke and Grant Stetter and a great niece, Savannah Crisler. He is preceded in death by a sister, Nancy King. Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Baker officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7pm on Saturday, April 27, 2024. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Elsea, Bill King, Boots Whittaker, and David Fisher. Dr. Edward Fisher will be deeply missed by his family, friends, patients, and the countless lives he touched through his kindness and dedication. His legacy of compassion and joy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. www.preston-pruitt.com

I am devastated by the loss of my Doctor and my friend, he was great at what he did and I will miss him dearly. He always made time to chat about the things we cared about and had in common. Much love to his family and friends in this time of grief.

As a patient, I so enjoyed meeting Dr Fisher, and he blessed me with healing, and informing me of needed news of our friend and Dr Murphy's demise. This news is so sad as well. I am sorry for our loss.
