We had an angel among us, sent from Heaven above, to teach us all about faith and the Father's love

The light in your eyes , was His light shining through, we never had a doubt that He was taking care of you.

The smile on your face, was Him letting us know, that no matter what came our way, he was in control.

You were our precious angel, sent from God above, to teach us about His mercy and never ending love,

You touched so many lives, and yet, you never knew, the many, many people on their knees praying for you.

God gave you to us, our sweet little girl, you were the sunshine of our days. You brought so much joy into our home in so many different ways.

But, even though we fought it hard and you were so brave and strong. God saw fit to take you to Heaven, a place where angels belong.

It hurt so bad to let you go, but you went with so much peace. Your body just couldn't fight anymore, you needed to be at ease.

The lives you touch, sweet precious one, are still changing even today. You showed us how to trust in God and truly seek His way.

Never once were you frightened at things unseen or known. You knew all along about your Heavenly Home.

So now when we think of you, and see the brightest star in the sky, we'll smile and thank our God above that we shared you for awhile.

Dear Sweet Emily, now you are home, from pain you finally rest, and you are playing at the gates of Heaven, where angels play the best.

We'll try not to question His plan, we'll try to understand why but when we begin to miss you so much, you just might see us cry.

We'll think of you each day we rise, and we'll thank the Lord above, for giving us our precious girl to share with those we love.

Someday, Sweet Emily when he sees fit, we'll be in Heaven with you, but until then, His love and your sweet memory will be enough to see us through.
