Valarie Simms (I was her right at home caregiver)
October 29, 2023
It´s been 9 years since Ms. Frances passed away and I still think of her and all of her wisdom. She not only was very intelligent, but she was also was very good at making others laugh. Her personality just sparkled. She always had something witty to say, and always with a smile. Although I was hired to help care for Ms. Frances in the end, I truly did love spending time with her. She is not easily forgettable and I miss her dearly. She loved her daughters and grand kids so much. She was so proud of her girls too. She used to tell me "I have one daughter to keep me healthy (doctor), & one to keep me wealthy (lawyer). She would just laugh when she would say it but I could just see her gleaming with pride. We had many conversations, and I loved how she motivated me as a woman. We talked endlessly about her awards and plaques she had hanging up all over her home. We loved looking at them together and she would tell me all about her ambition career. I learned a lot from her. So motivating to actually see what all she had accomplished in her life. She was a bright light in this world and made a lasting impact on me... Enough so that here I am almost a decade later reminiscing on the good days I spent caring for her. May she continue to rest in eternal peace.
