Dear Mrs. Hand, Deb, Lisa, Scott,
I am so very sorry to hear about Mr. Hand. My Mom (Shirley Marchand) and Dad(Jerry) would tell us about all the good times that they had will the two of you in the good old days before kids. I remember one time they told me that Mr. Hand gave Rocky (their boxer) beer. That was Rocky's favorite drink.
There isn't a day that goes by that Mom doesn't take about all the fun times we would have in Lexington and all the fun times that they would have with the both of you.
It has been years since I have seen you but I remember how nice you and Mr. Hand was to me and to Laura & Doug. I also remember all the fun times we had with Deb, Lisa, Scott playing in the backyard when you would visit.
Mom & I know know that our Dad (Jerry) and your Dad are up in heaven talking about old times, and about IBM, and playing cards sipping a beer or two.
Please take care, Mom and I miss all of you very much, and We will miss Jerry alot. Mom said she will keep in touch.
God Bless all of you,
Nancy (Marchand) Nance

Elizabeth, I was sad to read of Jerry's death. Mary and I extend our condolences to you and your family. I can recall my working relationship and many a good time I had with Jerry when at IBM. We also had some memorable times together with you, the Marchands, Morelands and Adams. Again, I wish to express my condolences to you and all of us that were his friends. He was a special guy and fun to be around.
