Gladys Mullins Obituary

BEREA - Gladys Mullins, 89, a resident of the Berea Health Care Center died Sun., Jan. 8, 2006. Gladys was born in Rockcastle County to the late Direl and Elizabeth Saylor Mink and was a member of the Pentecostal faith. She was the Owner and operator of the Berea Health Care Center and had been a Beautician. Mrs. Mullins is survived by her son Mitchell (Joyce) Mullins of Berea, One brother Bub Mink of Stanford, KY and sister Melba Jones of Lexington, KY. Two grandchildren Jessica (Will) Willmes of Richmond, KY and Sgt. Dustin Mullins USMC of Salem, OR. One step granddaughter Denise Ponder of Lexington, KY also survives. Funeral services will be Thurs., Jan. 12, 2006 at 11 am at Lakes Funeral Home with burial in the Saylor Cemetery in Rockcastle County. Visitation will be Wed., Jan. 11, 2006 7:30 - 9 pm at Lakes Funeral Home. www.lakes funeralhome.com

As her first cousin and the same age, we shared memories of growing up and working in the beauty shop together years ago! I

will always remember her. Mitch,

your Mother and Mom Elizabeth loved you so much. Treasure your

rich memories of both of them.

Mimmie was my grandmother and I love her dearly. She was always very helpful, wonderful, and loving. She will be missed.
