It's nearing one year since Big Jimmy went to his home in heaven, but we feel his presence here with us as strong as ever. The part Jimmy played in our lives as a family is much too big to be replaced or igrnored. He continues to play that part as we often and lovingly refer to what Big Jimmy would have done or said in situations we deal with today. We love you and miss you, and still look to you for support and guidance. We know you are there for us. Love, Sue

Uncle Jimmy: I always remember my mom and your sister who by the way loved you dearly telling me when she lived with Mammaw how you use to come in each morning and I would be standing up in my baby bed shaking the rail and how you would pick me up and hold me. I also remember you always saying how beautiful you thought that little blonded headed girl was my daughter Lauren. Just so you know, I held your sweet mother in my arms and dried her tears. I let her know you were alright for you are in God's hands until she can get to you. May love and peace surround Aunt Louise and your children. Love Your Niece, Tina

Big Jimmy was a wonderful man. He was my Father-in- Law for almost 20 years and a friend to me for the rest of his life. I will miss his beautiful smile and may he rest in peace.

Big Jimmy was a dear man who was loved and respected by many, many people. He was the center of our family; the one we went to for advice, a conversation or just to hang out. Jimmy had a way of lifting my spirits and he never failed to make me laugh. For me, personally, he was like the father I never had. I'm going to miss him dearly.
