Jo Jackson Obituary

JACKSON Jo Ann Elliott, 61, wife of Raymond L. Jackson, Sr., died Mon., March 6, 2006 at Central Baptist Hospital. Born in Lexington, she was a daughter of the late Allen and Hazel Hicks Elliott. She was a homemaker and a member of First Church of God. Survivors other than her husband are a daughter, Karen and husband Robbie Smith, Lexington; a son, Raymond and wife Janie Jackson, Jr., TN; three grandchildren, Allie Smith, Jacob and Nicholas Jackson; a sister, Patsy Jane Elliott, Lexington; and 2 brothers, William Howard and wife Shelby Elliott, Lexington, and David Elliott, Cincinnati, OH. She was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Sue Elliott, and a brother, Ronald Elliott. Funeral services will be 12 pm, Thurs. at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Main St. by the Rev. Stan Schilffarth. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm, Wednesday.

she made me laugh many,many tmes!

Jo Ann may have had problems of her own but she would always always help others around her.Jo Ann was aloving wife and devoted mother!Her kids are so very important to her--I know she was proud.May she rest in peace.
