John Hall Obituary

GEORGETOWN - John C. Hall, 53, of Georgetown died Aug 9, 2007. John was born Aug 21, 1953 in Letcher Co, son of the late Clyde and Louise Bentley Hall. John lived life to the fullest and loved the outdoors. He was an avid white water kayaker. Loved canoeing, exploring caves, and enjoyed traveling around the world. He graduated from Fleming Neon High School in 1971, attended Morehead State Univ.and on to UK in pursuit of his Electrical Engineering and Business Degree. John attended Hazard Vocational & Tech. School for additional electrical training. Then opened his own company, Delta Electric, in Fleming Neon from 1978 until 1985. Then to Georgetown in 1984 to work for Toyota until his early retirement in 2000. Survivors include his daughter Catilin Nicole Hall. Fiance, friend and caretaker of 2 years,Michelle Cernek. Also sisters, Shannon (Lloyd) Mullins, Whitesburg, KY, Martha (Corky and Dickie) Everidge, Shelbyville, KY, along with several nieces and nephews. John's memorial was held Aug.15, at the Everidge Funeral Home, Whitesburg. Entombment was at the Powell Valley Memorial Gardens, Norton, VA. John would have requested in lieu of flowers, donation be made to the Hospice or Humane Society of your choice, in his honor.

Memories never have faded when someone so outstanding has impacted so many lives! We took you to the final resting place you would be comfortable with and man do we celebrate you still!
