John Miklas Obituary

John C. Miklas, Jr., of Taylor Manor Nursing Home, Versailles, formerly of Cody, Wyoming, died Thursday, July 31, at Taylor Manor. Born in Chicago, IL, he was a son of the late John C. Sr. and Mary Sindelar Miklas, and was a member of the Catholic Church. John was retired as a self employed Management Consultant. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, and had worked for the Federal Government. He is survived by his wife, Kelly Barkett Miklas of Versailles, her parents, John and Bunny Barkett of Versailles, and a sister, Mary Jane Kopija of Brookfield, IL. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. today (Thursday, August 7), at the Taylor Manor Nursing Home chapel with Fr. James Barkett officiating. Interment will follow later at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Jessamine County at 2:30 p.m. today. Memorials are suggested to Taylor Manor Nursing Home, 300 Berry Avenue, Versailles, Kentucky 40383.
