John Scott Obituary

John A. Scott, 60, passed away peacefully on January 30, 2003 at his home surrounded by loving family members. He was the son of the late Anthony and Catherine Scott of Endicott, NY. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-six years, Judith Scott; son, John A. Scott, Jr. and his wife, Amy Scott; daughters, Jacqueline Scott Carroll and her husband, James Carroll, and Terra Malcom Carmichael and her husband, Chris Carmichael; mother-in-law, Evelyn Sandberg; his precious granddaughter, Gabrielle Scott; and a large and devoted circle of friends. A life-long restaurateur and an adjunct professor at the University of Kentucky, Mr. Scott will always be remembered for his laughs, his courage and his huge capacity for love. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home, 3421 Harrodsburg Road, today between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 p.m., and a Celebration of Life Service at the Cathedral of Christ The King, 299 Colony Boulevard, at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3, 2003. Judy, I am so sorry to hear about John's passing. Although I have not seen John in many years, I have some fond memeories of time spent together during our years at Long John Silver's. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
