John Webber Obituary

VERSAILLES - John Owen Webber, 100, of Delaney Ferry Road, widower of Doris Wilson Webber, died August 24, at his home where he had lived for most of his life. He was a life long member of Mortonsville Methodist Church, where he was secretary-treasurer for many years, a farmer, also a Voting Election Officer, and served as an ASC officer for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Jean Carol (Mack) Cain , a son, John Wayne (Marilyn) Webber, eight grandchildren, Sharon (David) Meade, Paintsville, John (Lucy) Cain, Margaret (Rusty) Watkins, Linda (Rick) Graebe all of Versailles, Russell (Sheri) Webber, Shepherdsville, Loretta (Carlos) Henson, Lexington, Rebecca Webber, Georgetown, Crystal Webber, Versailles. Seven great-grandchildren, Leslie and Olivia Meade, Emily and Michael Cain, Ashlie and Sarah Watkins, Allie and Mackenzie Graebe, Anna, Benjamin and Michal Webber. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Charlie Cain. Services will be 11 am Mon., Aug. 29, at the Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home, with Dr. David Jeffares and Rev. Amy Barkman officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 2-6 pm Sun., Aug. 28. Memorials are suggested to, Woodford Gideon Camp, P.O. Box 196, Versailles, KY 40383.
