Katherine Johns "Kitty" Thompson

NICHOLASVILLE - Katherine "Kitty" Johns Thompson, 58, of Chrisman Mill Rd. formerly of Harrodsburg, passed from this earth while at home on Tue, Feb 26, after a long illness. A native of Jessamine County she was born Dec 5, 1949 to Ruth Shannon Reynolds Johns and the late Fred Johns. She was a 1968 graduate of Jessamine County High School and attended the Eastern KY. University. Kitty had served as the General Manager of Keystone Brush and Contact in Burgin and was the owner of Southern Kitchens and Bath in Harrodsburg. In addition to her mother Ruth she is survived by her daughter Jaisa Miracle, husband Malcolm, a son Mark Erinn Thompson, wife Kristy, 7 grandchildren Malin, Emma, and Jacob Miracle, Andrew, Ben, Camron and Nicholas Thompson, 3 sisters Karen Kelley, husband William, Fredda Jacobs husband Ronnie, Eva Marsee, husband Dana, a brother Barton Johns, wife Gina, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Shannon Johns. Services will be 11am at Edgewood Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Scholar officiating with burial in the Cobb Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frankie Reed, Joe McGlone, Malcolm Miracle, Will Daugherty, Joe Marsee, Adam Watts, Matthew Lee, and Thad Lester. Honorary bearers will be Lee Redmond, Mike Johns, David Johns, Conrad Johns, Britt Miracle, Dana Maarsee, and Chris Lee. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Fri, Feb 29, at Hager & Cundiff Funeral Home.
