I am so sorry to hear of Mr Duncan's passing; he was an inspiration to me and others. He fought his battle well. He was a true gentleman and a real fighter. I pray that you will find a sense of comfort in knowing how many people's lives he touched. I am so very sorry for your loss and pray that God's love will continue to give you strength to bear your sorrow.

To Scotty's family,

Dr. Hardaway and I are so sorry for your loss. Growing up, he was away at school, but we often saw
him when he came home for
breaks and holidays. That
is when we, too, lived on
Boone Trail. We shall remember Scotty's wonderful
smile and his pleasant presence when we met. Such a
nice man. I lost my brother, Woody Guerrant, 10
yrs. ago, Jimmie Lou. Don't
know if you new him, or not.
It is never easy to say goodbye, but trust me, our
brothers stay in our hearts
forever.

May the Lord be with all of you.

Donna and family, I never have had the opportunity to meet you (Scotty's family - and yes, he will always be Scotty to me and those he grew up with - and I Johnny to him and them) but to meet you down the road. Scotty went to school with "our gang" through most of grade school, as my faulty memory recalls. We were not what I'd call best friends, but we were friends, and in ways I do not understand, I have always thought of him as one of our most principled group - don't even know if that approaches reality, but I suspect it did. I was so looking forward to catching up with him at our recent class reunion - despite going to and graduating from KMI, we all considered him a part of our class. I did enjoy our email chats, and the two phone calls over the past few months.

I am so sorry for your loss. John Jackson

Donna - I'm so sorry to hear about Scott. But I'm glad that you two had many happy years. Your mother would tell me of his progress, then backsets. So sorry for his suffering and all that both of you have gone thru. With love and prayers - Phyllis Jewell

Donna (and family), I was saddened this morning to hear that Scott had passed. You may recall, we worked together on and off over the years before I retired in 2003. His contributions were much respected. And he lit up a room when he entered with his broad smile and warmth. The OCC was a better place with him. The world too! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
