Matt's wife Patti is a very old and dear friend. I met Matt thru her when we were still in our teens at a bluegrass festival a bunch of us attended. He was always so calm, quiet and kind. He flew our 2 girls to Michigan for a week of fun on a lake there one summer and Patti played hostess extraordinaire. Together they raised a large, beautiful and wonderful 7 young men and I and my family send our deepest condolences and kind thoughts at this difficult time. Much love, Deni, Kevin, Sam and Steph Dougherty
